The story: Often as a mom, I think about this – floating carefree, nowhere to go, nowhere to be, no one to feed or hold up to get something. I love my kids – don’t get me wrong. But I think at times we all remember back to when life was so simple, so easy, so smooth. What did I do with all those years? I didn’t appreciate them enough at the time, that’s for sure! I guess I was looking towards the future, and now that I’m there, I sometimes glance back in brief longing, then turn my vision back ahead to the deep joys of today’s rolling waters.
