The story: Don’t you want to go here and sit under this tree? Or lay in front of it and look up at the stars and think of other worlds, what’s beyond, what’s next? I did this painting on a refinished cabinet door, and the intent was to wrap the tree into the frame for added texture and nuance on a peaceful night.
