The story: In Psalm 1, the story is told of a tree planted next to living water. By drinking daily from a different sort of water, the tree’s roots change, enabling it to become a different sort of tree – lush, fluffy, playful, free – majestic. When we allow God to plant us (and trust that He is a good planter) we enable Him to nourish us and fill holes in the deepest parts of ourselves. It’s a luscious lifelong process.
