The story: Every year or so, my husband and I take our girls up the mountains that surround Boise to pick wildflowers. Rachel and Aubrie gravitate to any flower they can find and when we bunch everyone’s flowers together with sage brush, I love how the bouquet doesn’t look fresh and store-bought. We picked them here, with mountains in the distance, in the slightly chilly air, with roots still dangling when we ripped them up.
