City of Trees | Signed Original

The story: I moved to Boise (“the City of Trees”) about ten years ago on the whim of one call and unexpected visit. One day out of the blue, my older brother called who I hadn’t seen in years. “Sis, I don’t know why,” he said. “But I had this feeling that I needed to call you and see if you wanted to come visit.” It was an interesting time to get the call. I had spent my whole life in East Texas, and after a short stint to California that hadn’t worked out, I was just about to return. I ended up visiting my brother instead and we saw this view, then later I met my husband here, got married, and we began making our home and life together just a few blocks from the hill that overlooks the city. When you visit, don’t miss it!
