The story: I moved to Boise (“the City of Trees”) about ten years ago on the whim of one call and unexpected visit. One day out of the blue, my old brother called who I hadn’t seen in years and who lived in Boise. “Sis, I don’t know why,” he said. “But I have this feeling that I needed to call you and see if you wanted to come visit. Do you want to come?” It was an interesting time to get the call. I had spent my whole life in East Texas, and after a short stint to California that hadn’t worked out, I was just about to return to Texas. I ended up visiting him and we saw this, then later I met my husband, got married outside Boise and we began making our home and life together just few blocks from the hill that overlooks this view of the city. When you visit, don’t miss it!
