The story: While blossoming may appear beautiful on the outside, it’s a stretching, testing, bourgeoning process. I say that because when I did this painting, I was in a growth phase – and I didn’t like how this painting turned out. I still don’t like it. But to many others, it’s one of my most popular works. If you like it – that’s what counts! When we grow, we give, even if we don’t know it at the time.
